The success of a company depends above all on the quality of the men and women who make it up. Recruitment is the lifeblood of any company, whether it's a startup or a large corporation. It is also an extremely time-consuming process with dozens of repetitive tasks that can be automated.

In 2019, Google received 3.3 million applications... You might as well say that with an Excel file to sort out the candidates they would have a hard time. Okay, you're not there yet, but that's no reason to go without an ATS!

What is a TTY?

The ATS, or Applicant Tracking System, is a recruitment management tool that allows you to simply and efficiently manage each stage of the recruitment process. The challenge of an ATS lies in its accessibility to all recruiters, since it is a Saas (Service as a Software) solution. This is in contrast to large recruitment software packages that require extensive installation by IT departments. Multi-distribution of offers, centralisation of CVs, simplified follow-up of applications... In short, the ATS is an all-in-one tool.

Why use a TTY?

In addition to being a lengthy HR process, recruitment is a significant expense for companies. The ATS comes as a catalyst of this process. Indeed, its functionalities allow to reduce the time of the recruitment process. E.g. automatic sorting of CVs, multi-posting on different job boards, automatic sending of personalized messages to candidates...

The tool also allows recruiters to reach a maximum number of relevant candidates thanks to the multi-posting of jobs. In addition to saving time, this feature allows the recruiter to focus on the quality of the advert rather than on its writing on each job board, thus increasing the chances of finding THE right candidate

Finally, the ATS offers a simple and efficient follow-up of candidates throughout the recruitment process, thus guaranteeing the smooth running of the process despite the multitude of applications.

Which tool to choose?

Now that the question of the relevance of TTYs has been addressed, the question of the tool arises. There are quite a few of them, with equally different advantages and functionalities. But which one should you choose and why?

We've tested a lot of them, and here are our three favorite TTYs, depending on the size of your organization:

Using a recruiting tool such as an ATS is key to finding THE perfect hire. However, don't forget that the process doesn't stop when the contract is signed. Once the candidate has been recruited, it is essential to support him/her in his/her integration within the company so that he/she stays with you as long as possible.

At Axel, we develop an onboarding solution to control the integration of your new recruits.
